Respect for Intellectual Property
CalculatorChef respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. We will respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
Filing a Takedown Notice
If you believe content on CalculatorChef infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated DMCA agent with:
- URL(s) of the allegedly infringing content
- Description of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed
- Your contact information (name, address, phone, email)
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
- Your physical or electronic signature

Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification including:
- Identification of the removed content and its prior location
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed in error
- Your name, address, phone number, and email
- Consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district
- Your physical or electronic signature
Process Timeline
- Receipt: We aim to acknowledge notices promptly
- Review: Content will be reviewed in a reasonable timeframe
- Action: Infringing content removed or counter-notification issued
- Restoration: If counter-notification received and valid, content restored within 10-14 business days unless court order received
Repeat Infringers
CalculatorChef will terminate access for users who are repeat copyright infringers in appropriate circumstances.
